Cleanwannabe's story

I was always a messy. When I was a teenager I could shove things in the closet and under the bed with the best of them. I now realize it probably to took more time and effort than if I actually cleaned. I would be able to go out but it would always take longer to get ready because I had to search for where I shoved that shirt, sweater or jeans.

Anyway I moved out before I turned 18, had a baby, got married, and continued on the path to messy land.

By the time I was 20 I had 2 kids, more mess and now was responsible for all the housekeeping. My husband worked 2 jobs and we no longer lived with his parents. Well I tried everything I could imagine to become a cleaner person but those things didn't work.

We bought a house 12 years ago and I thought this is it, I'm going to keep this place clean. I did for about 1.5 yrs. Then had my 3rd child and slipped back into my old ways. I stayed there until this summer. I don't know why I finally couldn't take it anymore but I started surfing the internet looking for answers and found this site. The rest as they say is history.

I work very hard each day trying to battle the messies but at the end of the day like myself more because of it.
